I have had this problem for a while now. These weird cysts keep showing up on my ear lobes, hence the title of this message board. It seems like as soon as one goes away another one comes in. They come, get bigger and itch, hurt, and then shrink and go away. Then the cycle repeats itself. Usually, the spot where the cyst is located gets warm for the duration of the cyst's presence. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything I can do about it?
Wow, not good. Um, here again, have you talked to a doctor? Maybe it's some kind of infection. I'd make more guesses, but usually when cysts show up somewhere, they stay, not shrink. Have you ever had pierced ears, and if so, did those heal well, or not? Sometimes symptoms like that could appear if you have infections from pierced ears.
I have had my ears pierced twice, and both times, they have healed fine.
I'd say that's an infection as the heat and itch suggests
you should see a doctor if they keep coming up. I get them from time to time on my chin and have had them lanced a few times to. it hurts like hell.
